Introduction C & I Safety will begin by creating a plan to build the formal safety program. The first step is to begin the process to create the Hazard Communication Program and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Manual. Once the Haz Comm Manual has been created, we begin the process to build the Formal Written Safety Program.
The most basic program will include:
Corporate Commitment
Statement of Safety Policy
Safety Responsibilities
General Company Safety Rules
Accident and/or Incident Prevention Programs
Creation of the Necessary Forms
Specific Additional Programs, such as Hazard Communication,
Personal Protective Equipment, Power Industrial Trucks (Forklifts),
Overhead Cranes, Bloodborne Pathogens, Energy Control Procedures
(Lockout/Tagout),Emergency Action, etc.
Based on the
assessments and surveys required to be completed the types of specific
programs will be tailored to your company’s needs. It is extremely
important that every aspect of your safety program is tailored
specifically to your company. A formal safety program gives your firm a
guideline to enforcing the applicable OSHA rules and regulations.
All
required training is included at no charge only with the Contract
Option. The formal written program will dictate the training required
for each employee working within your firm. Program Maintenance
includes recommendation, as well as, notification of OSHA regulatory
changes. It also includes updating formal written safety programs, as
required or needed. Training is provided for program refreshers,
regulatory updates and new hires.
The Contract Option includes

The options offer Safety Issue Consultation, Surveys, Safety Meetings,
